The Scoop is short and sweet today because there is only one thing you need to do this weekend - go to the Texas Reds Festival.
Texas Reds Steak & Grape Festival kicks off tonight in Downtown Bryan and I cannot be anymore excited. I look forward to this event every year because there is always good food, good Texas wine, and good Texas craft beer. Is there any better way to spend your weekend? (Psst - the answer is absolutely not.)
Tonight, they'll have vendors out and a free concert, but tomorrow is when the real fun begins. They have wine and craft beer tastings all day and then a steak dinner that night. It's free to get into the festival and tasting tickets are cheap too - aka: it's the perfect event to kick off fall with your friends or special someone.
Messina Hof teamed up with Texas Reds and created commemorative white and red wines to celebrate the event, Whistle Stop White and The Queens Royal Red. I highly recommend swinging by their booth because all of their wines are top notch! I always have one or two bottles on hand. My personal favorite is Beau, which they'll have at their booth this weekend. (So basically, that's where I'll be hanging out.)
Will have a full recap of Texas Reds next week - you know I can't pass up a wine tasting, y'all!
(Sidenote: How clean does my apartment look in that picture? Knocking out my fall goals already!)
